Jaguar XK120-140-150 1949-1961 - Starter motors
The starter motor of a Jaguar XK120, Jaguar XK140, Jaguar XK150 is an electric motor which makes the engine start. This electric motor is powered by the car battery. The starter motor is disconnected again as soon as the engine is running.
Your Jaguar XK120, Jaguar XK140, Jaguar XK150 does not start? Do you only hear a loud click when turning the ignition key? Is there enough current to run the radio or lights but the engine is dead? These are all signs that the starter motor needs replacing.
