Alternators disguised as dynamos / generators. We currently manufacture these Denso based items in over 150 different designs catering for almost all applications still running a dynamo / generator including the full range of Lucas units. We are also capable of copying an original charging system using modern components which we do not currently manufacture.

These units are 'outright' direct replacements and keep the classic appearance by using the original wires already in place. You simply have to by-pass your regulator box or replace with one of our new 'dummy' bulkhead mounted regulator boxes to eliminate any wiring modifications as the Dynators have built in regulators. All the units are manufactured in-house from billet aluminium and we incorporate our Denso race alternators inside more than doubling the output of the original item in most cases!

Our distributor also manufacture these to suit applications such as Ferrari, Alfa Romeo, Willys, AC, Delahaye, Chevrolet, Lancia and Mercedes Benz.

As with any of our alternators, for an additional charge we can convert them to 6 volt or +ve earth so fitting an ‘alternator’ on your classic no longer requires you to swap the polarity or convert it to 12 volts. Keep the vehicle original and enjoy the benefits!
