This moisture in combination with the acids from exhaust gases makes this muffler the most sensitive to wear. The rear damper is also important for the noise production of your Morris Minor.

Signs of a defect on the rear silencer:

Causes of rear silencer failure:
-Still moisture in combination with acids from the exhaust gases
